Welcome to Nolegalpaisa.com

The following Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kaahmuchee Solution Private Limited (referred to as “NoLegalPaisa.com,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the owner and operator of the website NoLegalPaisa.com (the “Website” or “Site”). By accessing or using the Website, and/or by registering an account with us, you signify that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service (hereinafter, the “Terms” or “Agreement”). You also consent to the information practices disclosed in our Privacy Policy (which is incorporated into these Terms by reference) and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of India. Please note that we offer the Website and Services “AS IS” and without warranties (as detailed below).

If you are using the Website on behalf of an individual or entity other than yourself, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on that individual's or entity's behalf. Eligibility: You affirm that you are at least 18 years of age (and are otherwise legally competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872) and thus capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, do not use this Website or any of our Services.

We may at any time, in our sole discretion, modify, add, or remove features or services offered on NoLegalPaisa.com, or alter the way the Website operates, without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates. Your continued use of the Website after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

In this Agreement, the "Service" refers to the NoLegalPaisa.com platform and all related services provided by us. The words "you" or "User" refer to anyone who accesses or uses the Service (whether as a seeker of services or as a service provider). The term “Professional” refers to any third-party service provider accessible through our platform, including but not limited to advocates (lawyers), chartered accountants (CAs), company secretaries (CS), mediators, or other qualified experts who offer services via NoLegalPaisa.com.

By using our Service, you understand and agree that NoLegalPaisa.com is an intermediary platform that facilitates interactions between Users and Professionals. This Agreement does not create any professional-client or attorney-client relationship between you and NoLegalPaisa.com. Such relationships may be formed only between Users and the Professionals they engage through the platform, subject to separate terms as may be agreed between them.

NOLEGALPAISA.COM ONLY PROVIDES A MEDIUM FOR INTERACTION AND FACILITATION

NoLegalPaisa.com is an online portal that facilitates communication and transactions between Users and various Professionals offering legal, financial, and compliance services. NoLegalPaisa.com acts as a venue for providers and consumers of professional services to exchange information with the goal of potentially forming an independent professional-client relationship. NoLegalPaisa.com does not guarantee that Users will successfully find a suitable Professional, obtain litigation funding, or achieve any specific outcome through our platform. We take no position, and offer no opinion or guarantee, on when or if a formal Professional-client relationship (e.g. attorney-client or CA-client relationship) has been established between a User and a Professional — that is solely determined by the parties involved.

In order to provide an optimal forum for connecting advisors and clients, NoLegalPaisa.com does not participate in or influence the agreements or terms between Users and Professionals, nor do we partake in the actual representation or advice provided by the Professionals (except for facilitating the initial connection and interactions through the platform). We cannot ensure that a User or Professional will ultimately fulfill their obligations in any engagement. You, the User, are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting a Professional suitable for your needs, and for assessing the integrity, honesty, qualifications, and trustworthiness of all persons with whom you communicate via this Service. Each Professional may have their own engagement terms or client service agreement; you must review and understand those terms before you formally engage a Professional.

NoLegalPaisa.com is an “intermediary” under Indian law, providing a technology platform for information exchange. We do not initiate the transmission of any content between Users and Professionals, nor do we select the receiver of any transmission or modify any information contained in such transmissions. Any agreement for professional services is solely between you and the Professional. NoLegalPaisa.com is not a party to those contracts and does not charge any fees for the professional services (aside from platform facilitation fees). Consequently, NoLegalPaisa.com is not responsible or liable for the quality or outcome of any services provided by the Professionals. You agree that any claim or dispute arising from services provided by a Professional shall be brought only against the respective Professional and not against NoLegalPaisa.com.

  1. (a) Disclaimer of Professional-Client Relationship with NoLegalPaisa.com
NoLegalPaisa.com is not an agent, law firm, partner, employer, or representative of the Professionals listed on the platform. We solely facilitate communication between Users and Professionals. Any electronic communication sent to NoLegalPaisa.com (through the Website or otherwise) will not create a professional-client relationship (such as an attorney-client or accountant-client relationship) between you and NoLegalPaisa.com; any such relationship is expressly denied. NoLegalPaisa.com itself does not provide legal, accounting, or other professional advice to Users. The role of NoLegalPaisa.com is limited to connecting you with independent Professionals or providing automated tools for your use.
  2. (b) NoLegalPaisa.com Does Not Endorse or Promote Specific Professionals
NoLegalPaisa.com's aim is to help each User find a Professional suited to their needs. However, our platform is not an advertising space or solicitation tool for any specific Professional. The content on the Website (including any profiles of Professionals) should not be construed as professional advice or an endorsement of any particular individual. We may use algorithms or inputs to suggest or match Professionals for a User's requirements, but such suggestions are not a guarantee of quality or fit. Transmission, receipt, or use of NoLegalPaisa.com does not constitute or create a professional-client relationship between you and NoLegalPaisa.com. We encourage Users to independently review and evaluate Professional profiles and credentials and make an informed choice. NoLegalPaisa.com does not guarantee the correctness or completeness of any information provided by Professionals on their profiles.
  3. (c) Confidentiality and Information Exchange
NoLegalPaisa.com endeavors to protect User privacy and information. For certain interactions (for example, when you submit a request describing your issue), our system may initially withhold your personal contact information from Professionals until you choose to share it or engage with a Professional through the platform. While we strive to maintain confidentiality, keep in mind that initial communications on the platform are not privileged or wholly private. Professionals generally should not request, and Users should not share, highly sensitive or confidential details about a case in the initial inquiry or chat. You should describe your issue in general terms at first. Only after you have decided to hire a particular Professional (and preferably moved to a secure, direct communication channel with them) should you disclose specific confidential information necessary to the engagement. Although we implement security measures, using the internet for transmitting information carries inherent risks. NoLegalPaisa.com cannot guarantee that information provided through the platform will remain confidential in all circumstances, especially if any security breach or unauthorized access beyond our control occurs. We are not responsible for any unauthorized use or disclosure of any information you post on our platform.
  4. (d) NoLegalPaisa.com Does Not Provide Direct Professional Advice
Any informational content provided by NoLegalPaisa.com - including frequently asked questions (FAQs), articles, guides, sample documents, or automated document generation tools - is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. No content on the Website should be interpreted as legal, accounting, tax, or other professional advice specific to your situation. Users are advised to consult with a qualified Professional for advice tailored to their unique circumstances. The tools and information on our platform are not a substitute for consulting with licensed professionals.
  5. (e) Prohibited Resale of Forms and Content
NoLegalPaisa.com grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our document templates and generated forms for your own personal or internal business use (or, if you are a Professional User, for use with a specific client). You agree not to resell or redistribute any documents, forms, or content obtained from NoLegalPaisa.com, except with our express written consent. This means you shall not modify, copy, reproduce, create derivative works of, or distribute the forms or other content from our Service for any commercial purpose. You may make necessary modifications to a form in the process of filling it out for your authorized use, but you may not remove any proprietary notices or branding. Unauthorized resale or mass distribution of NoLegalPaisa.com materials is a violation of our intellectual property rights and may result in legal action.
  6. (f) Disclaimer Regarding Professional Services and Qualifications

NoLegalPaisa.com makes no representation or warranty (express or implied) as to the ability, competence, expertise, or quality of any Professional listed on our platform or of any service or advice provided by such Professional. We do not and cannot guarantee that any advice given by a Professional is correct or will achieve your desired outcome. Please note that NoLegalPaisa.com and its employees are not lawyers, chartered accountants, company secretaries, or other licensed professionals in the context of the services being facilitated. We are not a law firm or professional advisory firm, and we do not directly provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. Nothing on our Website (including any content we provide to you in communications) should be construed as professional advice from NoLegalPaisa.com.

Our website content, blog posts, newsletters, or other educational materials are provided solely for general informational and awareness purposes. They are not substitutes for advice from a qualified Professional who is aware of the details of your specific situation.

Where needed to fulfill your requests, NoLegalPaisa.com will facilitate connecting you with an appropriate Professional (such as an advocate, CA, CS, mediator). Keep in mind that these Professionals are independent and are not our agents or employees. NoLegalPaisa.com provides one of many channels through which you can seek professional help; you may have other alternatives, and you are free to consider multiple options before choosing a Professional.

The decision to engage any Professional (including entering into any agreement for legal representation, consultation, compliance work, or litigation funding) is entirely your decision and should be made carefully. NoLegalPaisa.com does not guarantee any particular outcome from engaging a Professional through our platform. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, or do not want us to facilitate a connection with a Professional on your behalf, you should refrain from using our Services.

SERVICES OFFERED BY NOLEGALPAISA.COM

NoLegalPaisa.com facilitates User access to a diverse range of services provided by independent Professionals or through our platform's tools. Our Services include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. (a) Litigation Funding Services:

NoLegalPaisa.com may directly provide litigation funding to eligible Users to help finance their legal cases. In offering such funding, NoLegalPaisa.com acts as a litigation funding provider, extending financial support (often on a non-recourse or limited-recourse basis) to Users pursuing legal claims.

    • Nature of Funding: The litigation funding provided by NoLegalPaisa.com is typically non-recourse, meaning that your obligation to repay the funding (along with any agreed return or share of proceeds to NoLegalPaisa.com) is contingent upon a successful outcome in your legal case. A successful outcome usually means you win a judgment, secure a settlement, or otherwise recover money in your case. If your case does not result in any recovery (for example, if you lose in court or cannot collect any judgment or settlement), then generally you owe us nothing (NoLegalPaisa.com would not recover the money it funded). Any specific variations or limited recourse terms will be clearly outlined in the funding agreement.
    • Application and Due Diligence: To be considered for litigation funding, you will be required to complete an application and provide detailed information and documentation about your case. This may include pleadings, evidence, legal opinions, and financial information. You agree to provide accurate and complete information. NoLegalPaisa.com will use this information to conduct a thorough due diligence review of the merits of your case, the risks involved, and the potential for recovery. We reserve the sole right to approve or deny any litigation funding application at our discretion. We may decline to fund a case for any reason or for no stated reason, and we are under no obligation to provide funding until a formal agreement is executed.
    • Funding Agreement: If your application is approved, you will need to enter into a separate, written Litigation Funding Agreement with NoLegalPaisa.com (or with a designated funding entity acting on our behalf). This agreement will set out all the specific terms and conditions of the funding. Key terms typically included in a Litigation Funding Agreement include, but are not limited to:
      • The amount of funding that will be provided for your case.
      • The percentage of any recovery or the payment multiplier that NoLegalPaisa.com will be entitled to receive if your case is successful.
      • The conditions under which repayment or payment is due (usually only upon successful recovery, given the non-recourse nature).
      • Any repayment schedule or timeline, if applicable, and conditions (in some cases payment is due only at the conclusion of the case).
      • oThe specific uses of the funding (for example, it may cover attorney fees, court fees, expert witness costs, etc., as defined in the agreement).
      • Conditions for continued funding or withdrawal of funding (for example, if certain case milestones are not met or if the case's prospects significantly change).
      • Your obligations to keep NoLegalPaisa.com informed about material developments in the case and to cooperate during the litigation (such as providing case updates or notifying us of settlement offers).
    • Risk Acknowledgment by User: By accepting litigation funding, you acknowledge that pursuing litigation carries inherent risks, and there is no guarantee of success. Even though the funding may be non-recourse (meaning you wouldn't owe repayment without a recovery), losing the case means you may not receive any additional compensation and the funder (NoLegalPaisa.com) loses the funded amount. You understand that NoLegalPaisa.com's decision to fund your case is a commercial decision based on our assessment of the case, not a guarantee that the case will win or settle favorably. We strongly advise you to consult with your own attorney (separate from any discussions with us as a funder) about the merits and strategy of your case and to carefully consider the terms of the funding agreement before signing. Entering into a funding agreement can have significant implications (for example, it may affect your net recovery in case of success).
    • No Legal Advice from Funder: In providing litigation funding, NoLegalPaisa.com is not acting as your legal counsel. We do not control or direct your litigation or provide any legal advice regarding how your case should be handled. All legal decisions (such as whether to settle a case or proceed to trial) remain between you and your attorney. Our role is limited to providing financial support under the agreed terms. Communications or opinions from NoLegalPaisa.com related to the funding (or the value of the case) should not be construed as legal advice on your case's conduct or likelihood of success.
    • User's Obligations: You represent and warrant that all information you provide in connection with a funding application (and during any due diligence process) is true, accurate, and not misleading. If your case is funded, you agree to cooperate fully with reasonable requests from NoLegalPaisa.com necessary to protect our investment - for example, providing updates on significant case developments, outcomes, or ensuring that any settlement discussions account for the funding repayment. You must also comply with all terms set forth in the Litigation Funding Agreement, including any restrictions on early settlement or additional borrowing that it may contain.
    • Termination of Funding: The Litigation Funding Agreement will outline circumstances under which NoLegalPaisa.com may terminate or withdraw funding. These may include, by way of example, if you commit a material breach of the agreement, if it is discovered that you made a material misrepresentation or omission in your funding application, if there are significant adverse changes in the prospects of the case (such as evidence of fraud, or key evidence being invalidated), or if you fail to cooperate with reasonable information requests. In the event funding is terminated due to your breach or misrepresentation, the agreement will specify the consequences (which could include an obligation to repay amounts advanced). Termination will not be arbitrary and will follow the conditions set out in your agreement.
  2. (b) Online Consultation with Professionals (Lawyers, CAs, CS, etc.):

NoLegalPaisa.com facilitates online consultation services where Users can connect with licensed professionals such as advocates (lawyers), Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, and other experts. We provide a scheduling and communication platform (via chat, audio, or video call) for these consultations.

    • Professional’s Role: Any advice, guidance, or consultation provided through these sessions is given solely by the Professional with whom you interact. NoLegalPaisa.com itself is not giving you advice during these consultations. We do not verify or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any advice or information provided by the Professional in the consultation. The Professional is an independent service provider and is fully responsible for the content of the consultation.
    • Engagement Terms: Before a consultation, you may be required to pay a consultation fee as displayed on our platform or as agreed. It is your responsibility to understand what is included in the consultation (for example, the duration of the session, whether it includes any follow-up in writing, etc.). Any further engagement beyond the initial consultation (for instance, hiring the Professional for a longer-term matter) is outside the scope of this Service and should be governed by a separate agreement between you and the Professional. NoLegalPaisa.com is not a party to such separate agreements.
  3. (c) Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) and Mediation Services:

NoLegalPaisa.com offers an Online Dispute Resolution platform to help Users resolve disputes through mediation (and potentially other ADR methods) conducted online.

    • Mediator’s Role: If you use our ODR services, your session will typically be facilitated by a neutral Mediator who is qualified to mediate disputes. The Mediator’s role is to assist the parties in communicating and negotiating; the Mediator does not act as a judge or arbitrator and will not impose a decision on the parties. The Mediator will not provide legal advice to either party. Both parties are responsible for reaching any agreement; the Mediator only guides the process.
    • Confidentiality: Mediation sessions are intended to be confidential. We strive to ensure that discussions and any documents shared during a mediation are accessible only to the disputing parties, the mediator, and (if necessary) platform administrators. However, the confidentiality of online communications cannot be guaranteed. By participating in ODR, you agree to keep the contents of the mediation (communications and any proposed terms) confidential, and the other party and mediator should do the same, subject to applicable law. NoLegalPaisa.com will not voluntarily disclose what is said during mediation to any third party, except as required by law or with the consent of the parties. Please note that if the law requires disclosure of certain information (for example, if there is an imminent threat of harm or a court order), such information may not remain confidential. We employ encryption and security measures for our ODR platform, but you acknowledge the inherent risks of conducting sensitive discussions via the internet.
    • Non-Binding Nature: Unless all parties explicitly agree in writing to make a settlement reached in mediation binding (for example, by signing a settlement agreement), any outcome of the ODR mediation is non-binding. This means that if the parties only reach an informal understanding, it will not be enforceable until it is put into a written agreement that all parties sign. The mediation process is voluntary, and any party may choose to withdraw before a settlement is reached. Parties are highly encouraged to seek independent legal advice before finalizing any settlement agreement arising from mediation, to ensure they understand their rights and obligations.
    • User Responsibility: Your participation in the ODR or mediation service is completely voluntary. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to settle a dispute and on what terms. NoLegalPaisa.com does not guarantee that a settlement will be reached, or that if reached, it will be favorable to you. Moreover, it is your responsibility to ensure that your dispute is one that can be resolved via mediation. (Certain disputes, especially those requiring a legal precedent or involving public rights, may not be suitable for mediation.) NoLegalPaisa.com does not guarantee the legal enforceability of any mediated settlement – enforceability may require additional steps such as drafting a formal agreement or obtaining a court decree (especially in the case of court-referred mediations). By using our ODR services, you agree that NoLegalPaisa.com’s role is limited to providing the platform and, if applicable, a mediator, and that we have no liability for the outcome of the mediation.
  4. (d) Subscription-Based Legal Counsel Services:

NoLegalPaisa.com offers subscription plans whereby businesses, startups, or MSMEs can obtain ongoing legal and compliance support from Professionals for a fixed periodic fee.

    • Scope of Subscription: Each subscription plan will clearly define the scope of services included. Generally, subscription legal counsel covers general legal advisory and routine compliance guidance (for example, answering legal questions, reviewing standard documents, providing reminders on filings, etc.). Unless explicitly stated, these subscriptions do not cover in-depth work such as representing you in court, handling complex transactions, or drafting extensive bespoke agreements. (Those would typically require separate engagements or additional fees.) It is important to refer to your specific subscription agreement or plan description for the exact inclusions and exclusions. Any service that falls outside the scope will either not be provided under the subscription or may be provided at an additional cost.
    • Fair Usage Policy: To ensure that all subscribers get quality service, NoLegalPaisa.com may enforce a Fair Usage Policy. This means there might be a reasonable limit on the number of consultations, queries, or hours of support you can utilize under the subscription within a given period. The limits (if any) will be communicated as part of your plan. If your usage exceeds what is considered fair or reasonable (for example, significantly higher than an average user, impacting our ability to serve others), we may discuss upgrading your plan or adjusting the scope of services.
    • No Attorney-Client Relationship with NoLegalPaisa.com: When you subscribe to a legal counsel plan, the professional-client (e.g. attorney-client) relationship is established between you and the specific Professional (or law firm) who provides the counsel, not with NoLegalPaisa.com or Kaahmuchee Solution Pvt. Ltd. NoLegalPaisa.com is facilitating the arrangement and managing the subscription platform, but we do not become your lawyers. Any confidential or privileged communication shared as part of the subscription service is between you and the Professional. NoLegalPaisa.com disclaims any fiduciary duty or attorney-client privilege between the User and NoLegalPaisa.com for subscription services. (Of course, our Privacy Policy governs how we handle any information you provide to the platform.)
  5. (e) Document Drafting Services:

NoLegalPaisa.com can assist Users in the creation of legal documents and business documents either by connecting Users with document specialists/Professionals or through automated document generation tools.

    • Facilitation of Drafting: Upon request, we may assign a qualified Professional (such as a lawyer or legal document specialist) to work on drafting a document for you (e.g. contracts, agreements, company incorporation documents, etc.). In some cases, we may provide an automated questionnaire on the Website that generates a basic template document based on your answers.
    • Input Accuracy: You, the User, are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide for any document drafting service. Whether a document is drafted by a Professional or generated by a software tool, the output is based on the information and instructions you supply. NoLegalPaisa.com and the drafting Professional will assume the facts and details you provide are correct and complete. If you omit important information or provide incorrect details, the document may be flawed or unsuitable, and that responsibility falls on you.
    • Review Recommendation: While we aim to deliver high-quality documents, NoLegalPaisa.com strongly recommends that you review any document prepared through our Service carefully before using it. For important documents, it is often wise to have them reviewed by a legal Professional (if the drafting was automated) or by a second professional opinion (if drafted by a Professional through our platform), especially if the document will be used in high-stakes or complex situations. Laws and requirements can vary by jurisdiction, and slight differences in facts can require different drafting approaches. You should ensure the document meets your needs and is legally compliant in the relevant jurisdiction.
    • Automated Tools: If you use our self-service document generation tools, please understand that the resulting document is generated from a standard template based on typical scenarios. Automated documents are not customized legal advice. They are provided for convenience for common, straightforward needs. Complex or unique situations may not be adequately addressed by a template. Use these tools for simple matters, and seek a lawyer’s advice for more complicated or critical documents. We provide guidance in the tool, but we do not guarantee that an automatically generated document will perfectly suit your particular situation.
  6. (f) Compliance and Regulatory Filings:

NoLegalPaisa.com can connect Users with Professionals to assist in various compliance matters — for example, company or tax registrations, regulatory filings (GST, RoC filings, tax returns), license applications, and other ongoing legal compliance requirements.

    • Professional’s Responsibility: When we connect you with a Professional (such as a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, or compliance expert) for handling a compliance task or filing, that Professional is solely responsible for the proper execution of the task. This includes ensuring that the advice given is accurate and up-to-date with current laws, and that any documents or forms filed on your behalf are correct and submitted on time. NoLegalPaisa.com does not independently verify the work product of the Professional. If the Professional advises you incorrectly or files something improperly, though we will try to facilitate a resolution, the primary responsibility lies with that Professional.
    • User’s Responsibility: As the beneficiary of the compliance service, you remain ultimately responsible for complying with the law. This means you should provide all required information and documents to the Professional promptly and truthfully, and you should follow up to confirm that necessary filings have been made. For example, if you engage through our platform for annual return filing, you should not assume it’s done until you have confirmation. Keep your own records of filings and due dates as well. Neither NoLegalPaisa.com nor the Professional is liable for penalties or consequences that result from late filings or non-compliance if those were due to delays or failures on your part to provide information or take required actions. Always double-check critical compliance obligations; use our service as an aid, not a total substitute for your diligence.

We grant Users a non-exclusive, limited right to access and use NoLegalPaisa.com and our Services for lawful purposes, conditioned on your compliance with these Terms. To keep our platform safe, trustworthy, and legally compliant, all Users must adhere to the following guidelines. NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service (and take any appropriate legal action) if you engage in any of the prohibited activities below or otherwise violate these Terms.

Users must not engage in any of the following activities on our Website or through our Service (such behavior will not be tolerated):

  • Offensive or Abusive Content: Using foul, obscene, or inappropriate language; posting or transmitting any content that is hateful, harassing, abusive, racist, sexist, defamatory, or otherwise offensive towards any individual or group (including people of all ages, ethnicities, races, religions, genders, or nationalities).
  • Illegal Activities: Promoting, encouraging, or providing instructions for conduct that could constitute a criminal offense or violate any law. This includes content that advocates violence or harm against any person or group, or any other unlawful activity.

This includes uploading, posting, or sharing content that you do not have the right to use (for example, copyrighted material, trademarks, or proprietary information of others). Specifically, you may not use our Service to distribute pirated software, music, books, or other copyrighted works; to share unauthorized copies of intellectual property; or to provide information (such as serial numbers, activation cracks, or hacking tools) aimed at circumventing copyright protections or software licenses.
  • Malware or Hacking: Uploading or transmitting any viruses, malware, worms, Trojan horses, or other harmful code that could damage or interfere with the operation of the website, the Service, or any users’ computers or systems. Also, any attempt to compromise the security of NoLegalPaisa.com’s systems is strictly prohibited. • Interference with Service: Deliberately interfering with, disrupting, or overloading the Service or the networks or servers connected to the Service. This includes actions like attempting to disable the site, launching denial-of-service attacks, or using any device, software, or routine that interferes with the proper working of the platform. Similarly, you must not post links or content that could redirect users to external sites that compete with our Service in a disruptive manner.
  • Unauthorized Practice of Law or Other Professions: Using the platform in an attempt to offer professional services that you are not licensed to provide. For example, if you are not a licensed advocate, you must not offer legal advice to others through our site as if you were an advocate. Likewise for other regulated professions (e.g., impersonating a CA or CS without credentials). Professionals using our Service must abide by their own professional regulations and should not engage with Users in jurisdictions where they are not authorized to practice.

If a User violates any of the above rules or any other provision of these Terms, NoLegalPaisa.com may, in its sole discretion, remove or block the offending content, terminate or restrict the User’s account, and/or report the behavior to law enforcement or appropriate authorities if necessary. We want to cultivate a respectful and lawful community on NoLegalPaisa.com, and we appreciate Users reporting any suspected misconduct or violations to us

DISCLAIMER OF INFORMATION OBTAINED ON THE SERVICE

  1. (a) General Information Disclaimer

NoLegalPaisa.com provides a platform where information related to legal and professional services is made available, including content provided by Professionals and by NoLegalPaisa.com for general knowledge. While we strive to keep information on the Website accurate and up-to-date, NoLegalPaisa.com does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any information available through the Service. The legal landscape (and other professional domains) is constantly changing, and materials or answers that may have been correct at one time might become outdated. Use any information on our Site at your own risk.

Any information on NoLegalPaisa.com is provided for general informational purposes only and is not guaranteed to be correct or complete. NoLegalPaisa.com assumes no liability for how you interpret or use information obtained on our Site. In practical terms, this means that even if you read an article, guide, or answer on our Site, you should not rely on it as definitive advice for your particular situation. We strongly encourage you to consult directly with a qualified Professional for personalized guidance.

Where we provide links to external websites or resources, those links are provided for convenience and informational purposes. NoLegalPaisa.com does not endorse and is not responsible for the content on any third-party websites. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or safety of content on other websites that are linked from our platform. Clicking on third-party links is at your own discretion.

NoLegalPaisa.com will make a reasonable effort to remove any content that we determine to be promotional material or self-advertising by Professionals beyond what is permitted. For example, Professionals are expected to maintain factual and helpful contributions rather than blatant advertisements for their services; any content violating our guidelines may be deleted. Apart from that moderation, please be aware that opinions and statements posted by Users (including Professionals) are solely those of the individual author and do not reflect the opinions of NoLegalPaisa.com. We generally do not verify user-submitted content (like answers in forums, comments, or profile statements) for accuracy or truth. Use due caution and critical judgment when reading content on our site that was contributed by someone other than NoLegalPaisa.com.

We attempt to verify the credentials of Professionals who register on our platform (for example, we may check if an advocate is enrolled with a Bar Council, or if a CA is a member of ICAI, at the time of onboarding). However, we cannot continuously monitor or guarantee that each Professional remains in good standing or maintains their qualifications over time. (A lawyer might be suspended unknown to us, or a CA might let their membership lapse.) Therefore, NoLegalPaisa.com makes no ongoing warranty or representation regarding the current status, license, or ability of any Professional listed on our Site. It is advisable that Users perform their own checks or ask the Professional for up-to-date credentials if this is important to you.

Choosing a lawyer, accountant, or any professional is an important decision that should not be made lightly or solely based on online information. Users are urged to conduct independent research and evaluation of any Professional they consider hiring. This might include reviewing the Professional’s qualifications, experience, client reviews (if available), and even having an initial discussion with them. Don’t rely solely on claims of expertise or marketing—verify information when possible. NoLegalPaisa.com does not endorse any statements by Professionals about their specialties or experience. If a Professional profile claims a specialization or specific experience, it is the User’s responsibility to ask for more details or proof of those claims. Some fields of law or practice in India do not have formal certifications, so a claim of specialization does not mean an officially recognized qualification. Always use your judgment and when in doubt, consult more than one source or professional.

NoLegalPaisa.com is not responsible for any statements, advice, or promises made by Professionals or other users, whether on our Site or off-site as a result of a connection made on our platform. If a Professional provides you with a certain opinion or outcome prediction, that is between you and them—NoLegalPaisa.com cannot be held liable if that information turns out to be incorrect or if the outcome differs. We are simply facilitating the communication channel.

In summary, use the information obtained on NoLegalPaisa.com wisely and at your own risk. Always consider seeking a second opinion on critical matters. We aim to be a helpful resource, but we cannot ensure that every piece of information is applicable to your situation or compliant with the latest laws and regulations.

  2. (b) User-Supplied Content (e.g. Reviews and Comments)

At various places on NoLegalPaisa.com, Users may be able to post content such as reviews of Professionals, feedback, comments, questions, or other contributions (collectively, "User Content"). For example, a User might leave a review about the service they received from a lawyer, or comment on a forum question.

NoLegalPaisa.com is not the author or publisher of User Content; we are merely acting as a passive conduit for the distribution of that content. We generally do not pre-screen or edit the content posted by Users. As a result, we disclaim all responsibility and liability for User Content. This means if another User posts something that is false, misleading, or offensive, the responsibility lies with that User, not with NoLegalPaisa.com.

However, we do reserve the right (but do not assume the obligation) to remove or block any User Content that comes to our attention and that we consider inappropriate, illegal, or in violation of these Terms. We rely on community reports as well as our own monitoring. If any content posted by a User is brought to our notice and we determine, in our discretion, that it violates our guidelines or applicable law (for example, it’s defamatory, obscene, infringing, or inciting unlawful action), we will remove it as soon as reasonably possible. We are not required to notify the User who posted it, though in some cases we may.

Whether material is considered “offending” or in breach of our Terms will be determined by NoLegalPaisa.com in its sole discretion. Users do not have a guaranteed right to have their content remain on the site if it’s flagged by us or others as problematic.

Please also note that User reviews and feedback reflect individual experiences and opinions. They are not verified by NoLegalPaisa.com and do not represent our views. Take them with a grain of salt and consider the overall context.

By posting User Content on our platform, you also agree to abide by the rules in Section IV (User Guidelines) and understand that violating those rules can lead to removal of your content or other consequences.

LIMITATIONS ON USE

Any other use of the site content is strictly prohibited.

In particular, when using NoLegalPaisa.com, you agree that you will not do any of the following:

  • Commercial Exploitation: You will not use the Site or any content on it for commercial purposes outside of the intended use of our Services. This means you should not copy or use information from the site to create your own competing database, directory, or service. You are not allowed to sell, resell, or commercially exploit any portion of the Website, access to the Website, or use of the Website without our express written consent.
  • Reverse Engineering: You will not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying ideas or algorithms of any component of NoLegalPaisa.com (except as explicitly permitted by applicable law, and then only after providing us with prior written notice).
  • Unauthorized Access: You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of the Website, or any other systems or networks connected to the Website, by hacking, password “mining” or any other illegitimate means. Likewise, you will not use any device, software, or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Website or any transaction being conducted on the Website.
  • Data Mining and Scraping: You will not use any robot, spider, scraper, crawler, or other automated means to access the Website for any purpose without our express written permission. Additionally, you will not engage in screen scraping, database scraping, or any other activity with the purpose of obtaining lists of users, portions of our database, or other information from the Website, in bulk or in a manner not authorized by us.
  • Network Monitoring: You will not use any software or device to monitor or copy the web pages or the content contained herein without our prior written consent. You will not harvest or collect information about other users of the Website without their and our consent.
  • Modification or Derivative Works: You will not copy, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any part of NoLegalPaisa.com’s content (except for your own information) without our prior written permission. This includes refraining from framing our website within another website, or mirroring any of our content on another server.
  • Export Control: You agree not to export or re-export any part of the Service or content available on or through the Service into any country or jurisdiction where it would violate export control laws or regulations of India or other applicable jurisdictions.
  • Excessive Use: You will not use the Service in a manner that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure (for example, sending a very high volume of requests to our servers, or using the Service in a way that unreasonably consumes resources and may impair the experience of other users).

Any unauthorized use of the Website or its content may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, privacy and publicity laws, and communication regulations and statutes. NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to terminate the account or access of anyone who engages in unauthorized activities. If you are unsure whether a particular use of the Site or its content is permitted, please contact us for clarification before proceeding.

CONFIDENTIALITY

We understand that in using our platform, you may share sensitive or confidential information regarding your legal or business matters. NoLegalPaisa.com is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of information you submit on our Website to the greatest extent possible. Our systems incorporate security measures (such as encryption, secure logins, etc.) to protect your data. Information that you provide to us for the purpose of seeking services (e.g., details about a legal issue when posting a request, or documents you upload for a Professional’s review) will be used and disclosed only in accordance with our Privacy Policy and these Terms.

However, it is important to recognize that electronic communications (especially over the internet) have inherent security risks. Email and online forms are not 100% secure. There is a possibility (albeit small) that information you send through the Website could be intercepted by third parties or subject to technical failures. By using our Service, you acknowledge these risks.

Practical tips to protect your confidentiality as a User: In initial communications or inquiries on our platform, describe your problem in general terms without revealing highly sensitive details (names, specific financial figures, etc.) until you engage directly with a Professional. For example, instead of writing “My company ABC Pvt Ltd with PAN 1234 committed tax fraud of Rs. 5 crore last year,” in an initial query you might write “I have a serious tax compliance issue for a company and need advice.” The detailed specifics can be shared with the Professional once you have established contact and perhaps moved to a secure channel if needed.

Professionals on our platform are instructed not to solicit highly confidential information from you through the initial online messages. If a Professional needs detailed information, they should request to share it through a secure follow-up method.

We also caution you not to post personal identifiers (like your full name, address, phone number) or sensitive personal data in any public areas of the site (such as public forums or reviews). Use the private messaging or designated secure upload areas when providing confidential details to a Professional.

NoLegalPaisa.com will not intentionally disclose any private communications between Users and Professionals facilitated through our platform, except as required to provide the Service or as required by law. We have administrative and technical personnel who may, in the course of their duties, need to access certain data (for example, for site maintenance, customer support, or investigating reported issues). These personnel are bound by confidentiality obligations. Despite these measures, we cannot promise absolute confidentiality. For instance, if there is a software bug or an unauthorized intrusion, some information could be exposed. By using the site, you accept that risk.

If you are a Professional using the Service, you likewise should treat initial communications via NoLegalPaisa.com as non-confidential until you have established direct contact with the User and done your own conflict checks and formal engagement. Do not ask for or give any information that could waive privilege inadvertently or breach confidentiality rules of your profession during initial chats.

Finally, NoLegalPaisa.com is not liable for any unintended loss or disclosure of information that occurs due to factors beyond our reasonable control, such as hacking, phishing, malware attacks, or system failure, provided we have taken reasonable precautions to protect the information. We will, however, notify affected users and take steps to mitigate any damage if such events occur, as per our legal obligations.

In summary, we take confidentiality seriously and implement reasonable security, but you also must exercise caution in what you share and how you share it on our platform.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NoLegalPaisa.com (and its parent company Kaahmuchee Solution Pvt. Ltd., as well as our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents) from and against any and all losses, liabilities, claims, demands, damages, expenses, or costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and legal costs) arising out of or related to:

  1. Your use of the Service or any content you obtain through it;
  2. Any User Content you post or submit on our platform (for example, if you post something that infringes someone’s rights or is defamatory, and we get sued because of it);
  3. Your breach of these Terms or violation of any applicable law; or
  4. Your violation of any rights of a third party, ncluding any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

In plain terms, this means if your actions result in a claim or expense against us, you will cover those costs.

This indemnification obligation includes, without limitation, paying for NoLegalPaisa.com’s attorneys’ fees and court costs in defending against such claims, as well as any damages or amounts that we are required to pay, whether by judgment or settlement.

We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. If we do so, you agree that you will cooperate with our defense of that claim. You further agree not to settle any such matter without the prior written consent of NoLegalPaisa.com. (This is to ensure that any settlement is acceptable to us, particularly if it involves any obligation or admission on the part of NoLegalPaisa.com.)

This indemnification provision will survive any termination of your account or the Service. That means even if you stop using NoLegalPaisa.com or your account is closed, you would still be responsible for indemnifying us for acts you took while you were a user.

COMMUNICATIONS AND DATA

NoLegalPaisa.com is not responsible for any failure to store, or loss of, data or communications transmitted on or through the Service. By using our Service, you understand that technical issues or maintenance may from time to time result in data loss, deletion, or delivery failures for messages or content you attempt to post or transmit.

We urge Users to keep their own separate backups of any important documents or information uploaded to the Service. For example, if you upload a draft document or a detailed query, keep a copy on your own device. While we do our best to maintain reliable systems, we cannot guarantee that data stored on our servers will never be lost or corrupted.

We perform regular backups and have backup systems in place, but even backups have limits and can fail. We are not liable for any accidental deletion or loss of content or files you may experience.

Additionally, we reserve the right to delete inactive or deprecated data in the ordinary course of business (for example, deleting account information for accounts that have been inactive for a very long period, or deleting attachments that are no longer needed). Our data retention policies are further described in the Privacy Policy.

In summary, please do not rely on NoLegalPaisa.com as the sole repository for any important information. We shall not be responsible for any loss of data resulting from routine network outages, system failures, backups failing, file corruption, or any other cause.

LICENSE OF USER CONTENT TO NOLEGALPAISA.COM

When you upload, post, or submit any content or material to NoLegalPaisa.com (for example, when you ask a question, post a review, provide a comment, or submit documents or forms), you are granting us certain rights needed to operate and improve our Service. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in the content you post, but you give us a broad license to use it.

Specifically, by submitting or posting content on our platform, you grant NoLegalPaisa.com (and our successors and affiliates) a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, adapt, modify, translate, create derivative works from, publicly display, and publicly perform that content, in any form or medium now known or later developed. This license is provided so that we can operate the Service (for example, display your question to Professionals, format your content for different devices, or include your testimonial on our site) and promote or improve our services (for example, using snippets of questions in a help section or as examples, or aggregating data to spot trends and make product improvements). If you later delete content from the platform, our license will end for future use, but we may retain archival copies and will maintain the license for those copies (we generally won’t use deleted content moving forward, but it might remain on backup servers or in logs).

If you submit any feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding NoLegalPaisa.com or our Services, you agree that we may use and share such feedback for any purpose without compensating you.

Important: This content license does not apply to any private or sensitive information you provide solely for the purpose of obtaining professional advice or services, where you have an expectation of privacy. For instance, if you upload personal documents for your lawyer through a private client portal on our platform, we will not use those documents for marketing or other purposes beyond providing the service to you, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We draw a distinction between content intended to be public or shared (like questions, reviews, etc., which our system might publish) and content intended to be private (like confidential case information shared with a specific Professional).

NoLegalPaisa.com assures Users that any personal information or sensitive data provided in a confidential context will be handled according to our Privacy Policy. We will not intentionally disclose personal data or client confidential information to third parties except as permitted by our Privacy Policy, as required to perform the Service (e.g., sharing your info with a Professional you choose to contact), or as required by law (e.g., a court order).

In summary, you allow us to use your posted content to run and grow our platform, but we respect the confidentiality of any information that is by its nature private or submitted in a private manner. The content license here is mainly to cover things like forum posts, questions, and other contributions that help the community or help us improve the service.

NOLEGALPAISA.COM PROPRIETARY RIGHTS

All content available through our Service (except for content you or other users provide) is ,owned by NoLegalPaisa.com or our licensors and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. This includes the compilation of all content, the look and feel of the site, our trademarks, logos, and all proprietary material on the platform.

We give you a limited license to access and use this content for the purposes the Service is intended for (e.g., reading information, obtaining services). Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you. You agree not to use NoLegalPaisa.com’s name, logos, or trademarks in any way without our prior written permission.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any content from our Site (whether text, images, software, or other materials) unless: (a) it is content you have posted and you have rights to it, or (b) you have our explicit written consent, or (c) it is expressly permitted by these Terms. For example, you cannot scrape our list of lawyers and publish it elsewhere, nor can you clone our website’s design.

To clarify, normal use of the website is allowed – you can, of course, download or print pages for your personal use (such as printing a legal article for reference, or saving a copy of your conversation transcript for your records). But you cannot, for instance, compile a bunch of our articles into a book or database and publish it, or use our trademarks meta-tags to attract visits to your own competing site.

If you want to share something from NoLegalPaisa.com publicly (like on social media or in a blog), please share a link to the page on our site rather than copying the content.

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by NoLegalPaisa.com. If you breach these terms regarding our intellectual property, we may terminate your access and pursue legal remedies.

If you believe that any content on our Site infringes your intellectual property rights (for example, a User posted material they don’t have the rights to), please notify us using the contact information on our Site, so that we can review and address the situation.

LINKING TO NOLEGALPAISA.COM

We welcome users and other websites to link to the homepage of NoLegalPaisa.com as a way to refer people to our platform. You may create a hyperlink to our homepage, provided that the link does not portray NoLegalPaisa.com or our services in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise defamatory manner. For example, you can have a text link that says “Find lawyers at NoLegalPaisa.com” or similar.

When linking to our site, do not “frame” our content or make it appear as part of another website. The link should open our site in a new browser window or tab, and the appearance of our site should not be altered by your site’s formatting.

You must not remove, obscure, or alter any notices on our site, such as copyright notices or terms.

We reserve the right to ask you to remove any link to our site if we feel it is inappropriate or misleading. Upon such a request, you agree to immediately remove the link.

Please note that permission to link to our homepage does not imply permission to use any of our logos or other trademarks. If you want to use our logo as part of the link (for instance, a NoLegalPaisa.com icon), you must have explicit permission from us.

Additionally, linking to internal pages (sometimes called “deep linking”) is generally allowed for non-commercial, informational purposes (for instance, sharing a link to a specific blog post), but we reserve the right to prohibit deep linking in certain cases if it bypasses important information or context.

In short: Feel free to link to us, but don’t do it in a way that harms us, confuses users, or violates any laws.

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself (and/or your organization, if applicable) as prompted by the registration forms. This includes your name, contact information, qualifications (for Professionals), etc. You must not provide false identity information or create an account for anyone other than yourself without proper authorization.

  • One Person, One Account: Unless otherwise specified, each account is meant to be used by one individual (or one organization with one authorized user). You should not have multiple people using the same account credentials. For example, a law firm should create separate accounts for each lawyer who will use the platform, rather than sharing one login. Similarly, you should not use another person's account to access the Service.
  • No Transfer: You cannot transfer your account to someone else without our consent. Also, you should not use an account that does not belong to you.

NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to refuse registration or cancel an account in our discretion. Grounds for cancellation may include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, inactivity for an extended period, or suspected fraudulent or harmful behavior.

ERRORS AND CORRECTIONS

NoLegalPaisa.com strives to provide a smooth and error-free experience, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be without errors, bugs, or interruptions. Complex software and platforms may have issues that we will need to address as they arise.

  • Third-party content (including information posted by Professionals in their profiles or answers, or articles from partner content providers) is the responsibility of the party that created it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of any such content. It may also reflect the personal opinions of the author, which are not endorsed by NoLegalPaisa.com.
  • We do not warrant that the functions or content contained on our Website will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, that defects will be corrected promptly, or that our site or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • There may be times when the website is unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, network failures, or other reasons. We will try to schedule maintenance during off-peak hours and provide notice when feasible, but we cannot guarantee no downtime.
  • There might be typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in content (including descriptions of services, fees, availability, etc.). NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to correct any errors or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. If we discover an error that impacts a service you have ordered or rely on, we may attempt to inform you if it’s feasible.
  • While we have implemented security measures and scanning, we cannot promise that our site will be free of viruses, malware, or other harmful components. It’s important that you use up-to-date antivirus and security software on your own device for your protection.
  • We welcome feedback from users on issues or potential improvements. If you spot an error or bug, you can report it to our support team.

To the extent permitted by law, NoLegalPaisa.com will not be liable for any technical problems or software glitches that result in your inability to use the Service as intended, but we will do our best to fix problems that arise and are reported.

THIRD PARTY CONTENT

The NoLegalPaisa.com platform may include content provided by third parties (such as other users, Professionals, or external content sources) or links to third-party websites. Examples: a blog post written by a guest author, a legal news feed, or a link to a government website for forms.

Be aware that:

  • Third-party content (including information posted by Professionals in their profiles or answers, or articles from partner content providers) is the responsibility of the party that created it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of any such content. It may also reflect the personal opinions of the author, which are not endorsed by NoLegalPaisa.com.
  • If you see content that you believe is incorrect or violates our policies, you can report it to us, but you use it at your own risk.
  • The presence of a link to a third-party site does not imply endorsement by NoLegalPaisa.com. We include these links for convenience or reference. For instance, we might link to the Bar Council of India’s site for reference, or to a government portal.
  • Once you click a third-party link and leave our site, these Terms (and our Privacy Policy) no longer govern. You should review the terms and privacy policy of any third-party website you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or other actions of any third-party websites or services.
  • If a dispute arises from content provided by a third party on our site (for example, if a user feels defamed by something another user posted), NoLegalPaisa.com is not responsible for that content. However, we may act as stated earlier (remove it, etc.) once we become aware.

In short, treat third-party content on our platform with appropriate caution: verify it independently if it’s important, and be mindful that it’s not content authored by NoLegalPaisa.com.

UNLAWFUL ACTIVITY

NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to investigate complaints or reported violations of these Terms and to take any action we deem appropriate in response. This can include actions both within the platform and externally.

  • We may gather information about suspected violations and involve and cooperate with law enforcement authorities in prosecuting users who are involved in unlawful activities.
  • If we suspect that any User content or behavior is unlawful (for example, involved in fraud, identity theft, spreading malware, making threats, etc.), we can report the facts to law enforcement and provide any and all relevant information, such as user profile data, IP addresses, usage history, communications, or any content that has been posted or transmitted.
  • We may also report suspected illegal activities to regulatory or professional bodies. For instance, if a disbarred lawyer is illegally offering legal advice through our platform, we may notify the Bar Council or other appropriate authority.
  • We have the right to disclose any information (including your identity and contact information, account records, and content submitted) as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. This means if a court issues a subpoena for information or a police department issues a lawful request, we may comply after verifying its legitimacy.
  • Additionally, we may take action within our platform: issuing warnings, temporary suspension of accounts, or permanently terminating accounts found to be engaging in prohibited or illegal conduct.
  • NoLegalPaisa.com also reserves the right to notify other users that may have been affected by a user’s unlawful activities. For example, if we terminate a Professional for unlawful conduct, we might inform their recent clients on the platform that this occurred, if relevant.

Please note: We value privacy, and we will not casually hand over user information. But if we have a good-faith belief that disclosure of information is reasonably necessary to (1) comply with legal obligations, (2) enforce these Terms, (3) respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties, or (4) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of NoLegalPaisa.com, our users, or the public, then we may do so.

By using the Service, you consent to this potential disclosure of information and waive any claims against NoLegalPaisa.com for the acts of third parties (including law enforcement) that we cooperate with in accordance with this section.

REMEDIES FOR VIOLATIONS

If NoLegalPaisa.com determines that you have violated any of the provisions of these Terms or have engaged in any behavior that is harmful to our interests or the interests of others, we reserve the right to pursue any and all legal and equitable remedies available.

Possible actions include, but are not limited to:

  • When you first submit a request or question to the platform, multiple Professionals might review it to determine if they can assist you. At this preliminary stage, the information you provide is usually limited and may not include the names of all parties involved in your matter. Without full information (such as the identities of adverse parties, related entities, etc.), a Professional cannot do a comprehensive conflicts check (which would normally involve checking if they or their firm have represented any other party in your matter or a related matter).
  • Account Suspension/Termination: We can suspend your access to the Service or terminate your account, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms. If the violation is severe or repeated, termination may be immediate and without a chance to cure the breach.
  • Content Removal: We may remove any offending content that you have posted, without prior notice to you.
  • Legal Action: We may initiate legal proceedings against you for contractual breach and/or for violating applicable laws (such as intellectual property laws, defamation laws, computer misuse laws, etc.). This could result in civil or criminal penalties.
  • Injunctive Relief: : If your actions are causing or may cause irreparable harm to us or others, we may seek a court order (injunction) to stop you from continuing such actions, without needing to post a bond.
  • Recovery of Costs: If we have to initiate arbitration or litigation to enforce these Terms, we may seek to recover our attorneys’ fees and costs from you if we substantially prevail in the action, to the extent allowed by law or the arbitrator’s discretion.
  • Blocking of Access: We reserve the right to block access to our Website or Services from specific IP addresses or user accounts if we believe those are being used by a violator to continue their misconduct. For example, if you were banned and attempt to create a new account, we may block your IP or device identifier.
  • Disclosure of Violations: We might include information about the violation in any warnings or notifications to other users who were impacted, to inform them of the risk or situation.

The fact that we choose one type of remedy (say, removing content) does not preclude us from later seeking additional remedies (like legal action) if warranted. Conversely, our failure to act immediately on a violation does not mean we waive any rights to enforce the Terms later. Every situation is considered independently.

Users understand that NoLegalPaisa.com will not be liable for any damages that may result from our termination of your access or removal of your content as a result of your violation of these Terms.

CONFLICTS CHECKS

For Users seeking professional assistance, it's important to be aware that Professionals on our platform do not automatically perform conflict of interest checks prior to responding to your inquiries in the initial stages.

  • Therefore, initial responses or communications from a Professional on the platform do not guarantee that the Professional has cleared conflicts regarding your case. They are just preliminary. Before you formally engage a Professional (e.g., hire a lawyer through our platform), it is standard practice for the Professional to ask you for more details (names of all parties involved, etc.) and to run a proper conflict check in accordance with their professional obligations.
  • Users are advised that it is your responsibility to disclose potential conflicts to the Professional once you move toward formal engagement. For instance, if you are seeking help with a contract dispute, you should tell the lawyer the names of the other parties (the opposing party, related businesses, etc.) as soon as you are seriously discussing hiring them, so they can confirm they have no conflict.
  • Professionals registered on NoLegalPaisa.com are likewise reminded of their duty: Once a potential engagement gets serious, they should collect enough information from the User to run a comprehensive conflicts check (for lawyers, per Bar Council rules; for CAs, per ICAI guidelines; etc.). If a conflict is discovered, the Professional should decline the engagement in accordance with their ethical duties.
  • NoLegalPaisa.com does not perform conflict checks on behalf of Professionals. We facilitate the connection but the onus is on the Professional and User to ensure that no conflict of interest exists before proceeding with a confidential consultation or formal agreement.
  • If a conflict of interest does come to light after you’ve started working with a Professional (for example, you later find out the Professional’s firm represents the opposing party in another matter), you should immediately inform the Professional and likely discontinue sharing confidential information until the conflict is resolved. The Professional may have to withdraw from representation as well.
  • By using our platform, you acknowledge that initial communications are not privileged and do not preclude other Professionals from representing other clients in the same matter until a specific Professional-client relationship is confirmed and conflicts are cleared.

In summary, provide all necessary information about related parties when requested by your chosen Professional, to enable them to conduct a proper conflict of interest check. This protects both you and the Professional and ensures that confidential information is shared only when appropriate.

SEVERABILITY OF PROVISIONS

This Agreement (the Terms of Service) and our Privacy Policy (incorporated herein by reference) constitute the entire agreement between you and NoLegalPaisa.com regarding the use of our Service. If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed (i.e., removed) from the Agreement, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

In practical terms, this means: if one part of these Terms is void or unenforceable for some reason, you and we agree that it can be cut out, and it will not affect the validity of the rest of the Terms. The remainder of the Agreement will be interpreted so as best to reasonably fulfill the original intent of the parties (you and us).

For example, if a specific limitation of liability is deemed unlawful or excessive in a certain jurisdiction, that specific clause may be struck, but the other clauses (including other limitations of liability, indemnity, etc.) would remain in effect.

No waiver by NoLegalPaisa.com of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of that provision or any other provision, and NoLegalPaisa.com’s failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS OF USE

NoLegalPaisa.com may revise or update these Terms of Service from time to time in its sole discretion. When we do so, we will post the updated Terms on our Website and update the “Effective Date” at the top of the Terms.

It isyour responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any changes. If you continue to use the Service after the Terms have been updated, that continued use will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree to the changes in the Terms, you should discontinue use of our Website and Services before the updated Terms become effective. We may (but are not obligated to) notify users of material changes to the Terms via email or through a notification on the Website. However, you should not rely solely on such notifications and should check the Terms page regularly.

In certain cases (for example, if required by law), we might seek your explicit consent to changes in the Terms. But generally, the mechanism described above will apply.

These Terms (and any modifications) form a binding agreement between you and us. If any modifications are unacceptable to you, you must cease using the Service. By continuing to use the Service after we have posted updated Terms, you are affirmatively indicating that you have read, understood, and agreed to the latest version of the Agreement.

MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE

NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue (temporarily or permanently) the Service, or any part of the Service, at any time and without notice. For example, we may add or remove features, change the layout or user interface, implement new technologies, or even shut down the entire platform for maintenance or other reasons.

modify, suspend, or discontinue

If you have prepaid for any service or subscription that is discontinued, we will handle such situations in accordance with our Refund Policy (Section XXVIII) or any specific agreement we have with you.

Keep backups of important communications or documents as needed, as part of good practice, because we cannot guarantee availability of any specific feature or data forever.

We also reserve the right to create limits on use and storage at our sole discretion at any time. For example, we may cap the number of messages you can send in a day to prevent spam, or limit the file storage space for a free account.

If we discontinue the Service entirely, we may provide advance notice when feasible and may provide you the opportunity to download your data (for example, your documents or chat transcripts) before termination.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The following section is very important as it limits the obligations and liabilities of NoLegalPaisa.com to you. Please read it carefully

We operate our Service with the aim of providing useful and reliable tools for Users and Professionals, but there are some things we cannot promise.

(a) Disclaimer of Warranties
Your use of NoLegalPaisa.com is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoLegalPaisa.com and its affiliates, and their respective officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors, disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Without limiting the generality of the above, NoLegalPaisa.com makes no warranty that:

  • The Service will meet your requirements or expectations. (For example, we do not warrant that you will find the perfect lawyer for your needs, or that a particular legal outcome will occur by using our platform.)
  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. (We strive for this, but cannot guarantee no downtime or no bugs.)
  • The information or results that may be obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable. (This includes information from Professionals – we don’t guarantee their advice – and information on our site – which might be general or could become outdated.)
  • Any errors or defects in the Service will be corrected. (We usually will fix known errors, but we disclaim the obligation to warrant that the service will be perfectly free of defects.)

No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from NoLegalPaisa.com or through the Service shall create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms. You should not rely on any such information or advice if it’s not explicitly included in these Terms.

For instance, if a customer service rep says “I think that feature will be available next month,” that is not a guarantee from the company.

(b) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NoLegalPaisa.com (and its affiliated companies, officers, directors, employees, or agents) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages. This includes, without limitation, damages for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, goodwill, or other intangible losses (even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages), arising out of or related to your use of the Service or your inability to use the Service, or the results of using the Service.

  • If you rely on a document template from our site and it turns out to be unsuitable, causing you some loss, we are not liable for that loss.
  • If the site is unavailable at a crucial time and you miss a deadline or opportunity, we are not liable for the consequences of that downtime.
  • If there is a bug that exposes some of your information or causes some content to display incorrectly, and that results in a cost to you, our liability is limited as stated here.
  • If a Professional you connected with through our platform provides you negligent services and you suffer damages, NoLegalPaisa.com is not responsible for those damages — the Professional may be, but we are not a party to that service contract.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, some of the above limitations may not apply to you. For instance, certain consumer protection laws might give you specific rights. In such cases, NoLegalPaisa.com’s liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Maximum Liability: To the extent that any liability is not effectively disclaimed above, in no event shall NoLegalPaisa.com’s total cumulative liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to the use of the Service (including any third-party services or products accessed through the Service) exceed the amount (if any) you paid to NoLegalPaisa.com in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to such liability. If you have not paid NoLegalPaisa.com any amount (for example, if all your use was on a free basis), our cumulative liability shall be zero to the extent allowed by law.

This limitation is an essential part of the bargain between you and us, as the Service is provided at a relatively low cost (often free), and it would not be feasible for us to offer the platform if we accepted unlimited liability.

Release: You hereby release and hold harmless NoLegalPaisa.com and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and partners from any and all liability stemming from the conduct of any User or Professional or from any transaction or relationship between users of the Service. If you have a dispute with one or more users or Professionals, you release NoLegalPaisa.com from claims, demands and damages of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.

(The above release is not intended to apply to any claim of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that by law cannot be released or disclaimed.)

Survival: The disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability in this Section survive any termination or expiration of this Agreement.

ARBITRATION

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your use of NoLegalPaisa.com’s services shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for matters that may be taken to small claims court or for injunctive relief as noted below. The arbitration will be conducted in India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and any amendments thereto, or any law replacing it.

  • Arbitration Procedure:
A single neutral arbitrator shall be appointed by mutual agreement of the parties (or, if we cannot agree within 30 days of notice of the dispute, either party may request appointment of an arbitrator by the competent authority under the Arbitration Act). The language of the arbitration shall be English. The arbitration shall take place in [___________}, India. You may choose to appear via video or teleconference for the arbitration, or to have it conducted solely based on submitted documents, if the arbitrator permits.
  • Individual Basis:
You and NoLegalPaisa.com agree that all disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate or join the claims of other persons or parties who may be similarly situated. You waive any right to have your case arbitrated or litigated as a class action or in a representative capacity on behalf of others.
  • Exceptions to Arbitration:
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek interim or preliminary injunctive relief (such as a temporary restraining order or preliminary injunction) from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent an imminent harm, threat to the security, or misuse of intellectual property or confidential information, without first engaging in arbitration. Additionally, disputes relating to non-payment or recovery of smaller sums may, at either party’s option, be handled in a small claims court with appropriate jurisdiction, rather than arbitration, as long as the matter remains in that court and on an individual (non-class) basis.
  • Arbitration Award:
The arbitrator’s award shall be written and reasoned, and shall be final and binding on the parties. Judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
  • Costs of Arbitration:
Each party shall initially bear its own filing fees, attorneys’ fees, and costs in the arbitration. However, the arbitrator has the authority to award the prevailing party its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, to the extent permitted by law or agreement between the parties.
  • Governing Law:
The arbitration shall be governed by the laws of India. The arbitrator will apply the substantive law of the state of [___________________] (excluding its conflict of law provisions), or if the dispute involves a federal statutory claim, the laws of India, in making a decision.
  • By agreeing to arbitration, you are giving up your right to go to court (except for the exceptions listed) and to have a trial in front of a judge or jury. You are also giving up your right to participate in class actions, and other collective proceedings.

If you have questions about this arbitration clause, you may wish to consult an attorney.

  • Exclusive Jurisdiction:
In the event any dispute is found by a court to not be subject to arbitration (despite the provisions above), or if a court is needed to enforce an arbitration award, or for any other litigation permitted under these Terms, such dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [___________________], India. You and NoLegalPaisa.com consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy and any other guidelines or policies posted on the Website (which are incorporated by reference), constitute the entire and exclusive agreement between you and NoLegalPaisa.com regarding your use of the Service. They supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, or warranties (whether oral or written) concerning the subject matter

In case you and NoLegalPaisa.com have entered into a separate written agreement or contract for specific services (for example, a separate enterprise services agreement), and if any terms of that separate contract conflict with these Terms, the separate contract’s terms will prevail for those specific services to the extent of the conflict.

  • No oral modifications:

Any changes to this Agreement must be made in writing (either by posting an updated Terms of Service on the Website or through a written amendment signed by an authorized representative of NoLegalPaisa.com). Any changes to this Agreement must be made in writing (either by posting an updated Terms of Service on the Website or through a written amendment signed by an authorized representative of NoLegalPaisa.com). Informal communications or statements by our staff will not constitute modifications of these Terms.

Your use of NoLegalPaisa.com’s services is also subject to any additional terms, rules, or guidelines applicable to specific services or features that we may post or provide to you. For example, if we launch a new promotional program or referral program, we may post additional “Supplemental Terms” for that program. Any such supplemental terms become part of your agreement with us when you partake in those programs or features.

NoLegalPaisa.com’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision nor of the right to enforce it.

INDEMNIFICATION (REITERATED FOR EMPHASIS)

(To reiterate the important indemnity clause in Section VIII:)

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NoLegalPaisa.com, its parent company (Kaahmuchee Solution Pvt. Ltd.), subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs) arising out of or in any way connected with: (i) your access to or use of the Website or Services; (ii) your violation of any of these Terms; (iii) any content or information you post or submit through the Service; or (iv) your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of NoLegalPaisa.com or any third party.

This means if someone else sues us or holds us responsible because of something you did (for example, you posted infringing material, or you misused the platform in violation of the Terms), then you will step in to defend NoLegalPaisa.com and pay any costs or damages we are required to pay as a result.

We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you will cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses. You will not settle any such claim without NoLegalPaisa.com’s prior written consent unless the settlement completely and unconditionally releases NoLegalPaisa.com from all liability and does not require NoLegalPaisa.com to pay any amount or take any action.

This indemnification provision is intended to supplement, not to limit or replace, any other indemnification obligations you may have under these Terms.

PAYMENTS, CANCELLATIONS, AND REFUNDS

NoLegalPaisa.com aims to deliver high-quality services and customer satisfaction. By purchasing or subscribing to any service on our platform, you agree to the following terms regarding fees, cancellations, and refunds:

  • Fees and Payments:
When you select a service (for example, a document drafting package, a consultation session, or a subscription plan), the fees for that service will be communicated to you (either via the Website or a written quote). You agree to pay all charges associated with the service in advance, unless other payment terms have been explicitly agreed (e.g., a milestone-based payment for a long project). Payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified, and may be subject to applicable taxes (such as GST). If any taxes are due, they will either be included in the price or stated separately. We will issue electronic invoices/receipts for any payment received.

Payments are typically processed through our third-party payment gateway partners, which may include credit card processors, UPI, net-banking, or other methods. You must provide accurate billing information and a valid payment method. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect fees owed using other collection mechanisms (including charging other payment methods on file, and/or retaining collection agencies and legal counsel). Transaction fees charged by payment providers (if any) are generally borne by us, but we reserve the right to charge a small convenience fee for certain modes of payment (you will be informed before payment if such a fee applies).
  • Order Confirmation:
After you pay for a service, we will usually send an order confirmation or ticket number to your registered email. This confirmation indicates that we have received your request and payment. If for some reason we cannot fulfill the service (e.g., due to unavailability of a Professional, or a pricing error), we will inform you and process a refund if applicable.
  • Cancellations by User:
    • If you change your mind after purchasing a service but before the service has commenced, you may request a cancellation by contacting us at support@nolegalpaisa.com and referencing your Order/Ticket number. We strive to accommodate such requests, but cancellation and refund eligibility will depend on the timing and whether work on your service has already begun.

    • “Change of Mind” Cancellation: If you decide not to proceed with a service shortly after payment and work has not yet commenced on the service in any significant way, we may allow cancellation with a full or partial refund of the professional fee component (see below regarding what is refundable). This typically applies if you notify us within a very short time frame (for example, within 24 hours for an on-demand service) and we confirm that work hadn’t started.
    • If Work Has Commenced: Once a Professional has been assigned and has started working on your case or if a consultation has been scheduled/completed, a change-of-mind cancellation might no longer be possible or may incur a cancellation fee (to compensate the Professional for time spent). We will evaluate on a case-by-case basis.
  • Delays and Dissatisfaction:
    • We aim to deliver services within the estimated time frames. If there’s a significant delay caused solely by us or our assigned Professional beyond the promised timeline, you can notify us. If the delay is unreasonable and not due to any waiting on the User’s part (like waiting for you to provide information), we will consider a refund or partial refund.

    • If you are dissatisfied with the service provided, we encourage you to immediately bring this to our attention (via support@nolegalpaisa.com or by escalating to attention@nolegalpaisa.com). We will investigate the issue. If the dissatisfaction is due to an obvious service shortfall on our part (e.g., the delivered output didn’t match the service description or had significant errors), we may offer a remedy such as a revision/correction, or in some cases, a refund of the professional fees.
  • To initiate any request for cancellation or refund, please email us with the details of your case and the reason for the request. Provide any supporting evidence if applicable (for example, if you believe a delay was avoidable, or if a delivered document had mistakes).

  • Processing Refunds:
If a refund is approved by our team, we will process the refund within 15-30 business days from the date of approval. Refunds will generally be made through the same payment method you used originally, unless otherwise agreed. Please note that once we process a refund on our end, it might take additional time for your bank or card issuer to credit the amount back to you.
  • What is Refundable:
    • We will only consider refunds for the professional service fees you paid to us. If there were any government fees, stamp duties, or third-party charges paid on your behalf (for example, a company registration fee paid to MCA, or a trademark application fee paid to the government), those amounts are typically non-refundable, since they have already been utilized for their intended purpose and cannot be recovered by us.

    • Similarly, if part of the fee went toward any consumable or disbursement (like purchasing stamp paper, courier charges, etc.), those may not be refundable if already spent.
    • Our pricing sometimes packages government fees and service fees together for convenience. In case of a refund, we will clarify which component is being refunded. Generally, only the service fee (the fee for the Professional’s time/expertise) is eligible for refund, and even then, only under the conditions described.
  • Assessment and Decision:
Upon receiving a refund request, NoLegalPaisa.com management will review the timeline of events, the work done, communications, and the reason for the request. We may reach out to you for additional information or clarification and also consult with the Professional involved. After assessment, we will inform you of our decision regarding the refund. The decision will take into account fairness, the extent of service already provided, and the reason for dissatisfaction or cancellation.
  • Final and Binding Decision:
NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to make the final decision on any refund request. We strive to be fair and just, but by using our services, you acknowledge that our determination of refunds (and the amount, if any) will be final and binding, and made in good faith according to these Terms
  • No Refund Circumstances: There are certain scenarios where refunds are generally not provided:
    • Delays due to External Factors: If a delay in service delivery was caused by factors outside our control (for instance, a government department taking longer to process a filing, or unforeseen closures like public holidays, or delays due to a pandemic lockdown, etc.), we cannot be held responsible for those delays and will not issue refunds based on such circumstances.

    • User’s Own Delay or Non-cooperation: If we or the Professional have been waiting on you for information, documents, or approvals and that causes a delay or inability to complete the service, we do not issue refunds. For example, if you purchased a document drafting service and then did not provide the necessary details to draft the document despite reminders, you would not be entitled to a refund due to “delay,” as the delay was caused by your inaction.

    • Change of Scope: If after commencement of work you decide to change the scope of the service (for example, you initially asked for a basic agreement but later want a more complex agreement that wasn’t part of the original order), and then you are unhappy because the additional work requires more fees or time, that does not qualify for a refund of the original service. We can either proceed with the changed scope with an adjusted fee or stick to the original scope.

    • After Completion: Once a service has been fully delivered as per the agreed scope and quality (in our determination), dissatisfaction alone, especially subjective, may not warrant a refund. (E.g., “I got the document drafted and it’s legally correct, but I don’t like the wording style.” – we can attempt a revision but not a refund if it met the agreed requirements.)

    • Violation of Terms: If a User violates these Terms or engages in misuse of our service, they are not entitled to refunds. For instance, if a user is found to be using the consultation service for illegal purposes and we terminate the service, we will not refund fees for services already rendered.

  • Service-specific Policies:
    • Litigation Funding Facilitation: In cases where NoLegalPaisa.com facilitated a litigation funding transaction: typically, any facilitation or processing fee charged by NoLegalPaisa.com for arranging the funding is non-refundable once the funding has been disbursed, since the service (connecting you with funder and completing the process) has been fulfilled. If, for some reason, the funding does not go through, we might refund any platform fee if it was charged upfront.

    • Subscription Services: If you subscribe to a monthly/annual legal counsel plan and decide to cancel early, NoLegalPaisa.com may consider a pro-rated refund of any unused portion of your subscription,at our discretion. This typically applies if you paid for a longer duration upfront. We will deduct the value of services already utilized (for example, if you used several consultation hours) from the refund. If a significant portion of the subscription period has passed or usage has been high relative to the period, a refund may not be available.

    • Online Consultations: Fees for completed consultation sessions are generally non-refundable. If you are unsatisfied with a particular consultation, let us know – we may offer a free follow-up or involve a different Professional to help, but refunds are typically not given for time spent.

    • ODR/Mediation Sessions: If a mediation session has started (i.e., the mediator and parties have met online) or completed, the fees for that session are non-refundable. If a session was scheduled and a party did not show up, we will work with you to reschedule per our policies, but if ultimately unused due to user no-show, that might be forfeit.

We are committed to customer satisfaction and will always try to find an amicable resolution to any issues. The above policies are to set clear expectations. They do not restrict us from accommodating you beyond these terms in exceptional situations at our discretion, but they clarify when we are not obligated to.

If you have any questions about our payment, cancellation, or refund policies before purchasing a service, please contact our support for clarification.
