Every private security company in India must hold a PSARA License under the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005 before it can deploy guards. We handle the registrations, the MOU, police verification follow-up and the State Controlling Authority application — end to end.

A Private Security Agency is any organisation engaged in supplying security guards and allied protective services to institutions. The Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005 — known simply as PSARA — regulates how these agencies operate across India.
Once the Act applies, an agency must obtain a licence from the relevant State Controlling Authority before commencing business. Operating without one carries serious penal consequences. A licence can be issued for a single district, a group of districts, or an entire State, and is generally valid for five years.
Plans are scoped by territory — a single district, multiple districts, or the entire State. Pricing is event-based and shared as a written quote once we map your scope, entity type and the State authority involved.

Each State runs its own workflow, but the core journey is consistent. Here is how we take you from incorporation to a granted licence.
We gather and verify the foundational registrations — PAN, TAN, GST, PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment and director ITRs.
You enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with a recognised institute to train guards and supervisors, as required in your State.
Verification forms are submitted for each director, partner and the principal officer. A clean antecedents report is essential.
The application is filed before the PSARA Controlling Authority and processed once the police NOC is received.
The authority may inspect the office and training arrangements before taking a decision on the grant.
On approval, the PSARA licence is issued — generally valid for five years and renewable, subject to State rules.
What the State Controlling Authority expects to see, organised so your team can prepare with confidence.
Open to any Indian individual, firm or company — with majority Indian ownership where the applicant is a company.
Requirements vary by State; all records should be in the prescribed format and notarised where needed.
