Everything you need to file your trademark and start using the ™ symbol today — handled by our experts.
Everything about the service, what the ₹1,499 plan covers, and the full disclaimer — all in one place below.
About the service. NoLegalPaisa's online trademark registration takes your brand from idea to protected asset. We start with a professional trademark search to check availability, advise you on the right class(es) out of the 45 under the NICE classification, and prepare and file your TM-A application with the Trade Marks Registry — after which you can immediately use the ™ symbol. We then track your application through examination, journal publication and registration, keeping you updated at every stage, until your ® certificate is granted.
What's included in ₹1,499. The plan covers the trademark search, class advisory, drafting and filing of a single-class TM-A application, authorisation documents and real-time status tracking. Government filing fees and any objection responses or hearings are charged separately, as set out below.
Additional charges. Government objections, examination reports, oppositions, hearings and additional responses are charged separately. Objection / Examination Response: ₹1,999 per objection. Hearing Representation: ₹5,999 for the hearing.
Professional fee & government fees. The ₹1,499-onwards price is our professional/service fee for a single-class application and is exclusive of applicable taxes (GST). Government filing fees are payable separately, at actuals — currently ₹4,500 per class per mark for individuals, startups and MSMEs (with valid certificate), and ₹9,000 per class per mark for others (e-filing). A separate fee applies for each class and each mark.
What's included. The plan covers trademark search, class advisory, drafting and e-filing of one TM-A application in one class, authorisation documents and status tracking up to filing and on through the standard process, assuming a straightforward application. Multi-class or multiple-mark filings are quoted per class/mark.
Objections, oppositions & hearings. The Registry may issue an examination report raising objections (e.g., under Sections 9 and 11 of the Trade Marks Act, 1999), or a third party may oppose the mark after journal publication. Replies, opposition handling and hearing representation are additional services charged separately as above and are not part of the base filing fee.
™ vs ®. You may use the ™ symbol as soon as the application is filed. The ® symbol can be used only after the trademark is registered and the certificate is granted. Registration is valid for 10 years and is renewable indefinitely.
No guaranteed outcome & timelines. We prepare and file applications diligently, but acceptance, objections, oppositions, processing and timelines are determined by the Trade Marks Registry and are outside our control; registration cannot be guaranteed (for example, a mark may be refused on absolute or relative grounds). Accurate information, the logo/mark and supporting documents are to be provided by you.

A short walkthrough of the full journey — search, filing, examination, publication and registration.
You can use the ™ symbol the moment you file. Full registration, if uncontested, typically takes 8–18 months — through examination, a 4-month journal publication window, and (if all clear) the grant of the certificate. Objections or oppositions can extend this.
Goods and services are divided into 45 classes under the NICE classification (1–34 for goods, 35–45 for services). You register your mark in the class(es) relevant to your business. We help you pick the right ones.
™ can be used as soon as you file your application, signalling that you claim the mark. ® can be used only after the trademark is officially registered. Using ® before registration is not permitted.
A registered trademark is valid for 10 years and can be renewed indefinitely in further 10-year terms — so your brand can stay protected forever.
The Registry may raise objections in an examination report (e.g., the mark is too descriptive or similar to an existing one). After publication, a third party may also oppose the mark. We handle responses — Objection / Examination Response at ₹1,999 per objection, and Hearing Representation at ₹5,999.
You can register a word mark, a logo, or a combined mark. Often it's strongest to protect the name and the logo separately. We'll advise the best strategy for your brand and budget.
Register your trademark online from ₹1,499 — and own your name, logo and identity across India.
