! Service Disclaimer & Important Notes

โŒ„

Please read the following carefully before placing an order. By engaging NoLegalPaisa for a Digital Signature Certificate, you acknowledge and accept the terms below.

Professional Fee & Scope

The fee quoted by NoLegalPaisa (operated by Kaahmuchee Solution Private Limited) is a professional / facilitation fee provided on request (event-based) and varies with the class, validity period (1/2/3 years), type (Individual, Organisation, DGFT, Document Signer), the USB crypto token and the Certifying Authority's charges. The quote covers only the deliverables expressly listed in the plan above and nothing else.

Certifying Authority & Token Charges: The DSC is issued by a licensed Certifying Authority (CA) under the Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA), not by NoLegalPaisa. CA issuance charges, the FIPS-compliant USB crypto token (if you do not already own one), courier and any other third-party charges are NOT included in the professional fee and are charged extra at actuals.
Government & Statutory Charges: Any government fees, statutory dues, applicable GST / taxes on the certificate or token, portal registration charges and other levies imposed by any authority are NOT included and are payable separately by the client at actuals.

KYC & Verification

Issuance is subject to mandatory KYC as required by the CA / CCA โ€” Aadhaar eKYC (OTP or biometric) or PAN-based video verification. The applicant must be available and cooperative for video verification; failure to complete KYC will delay or prevent issuance.

Timelines

The typical issuance time of 1โ€“2 working days is indicative only and begins after receipt of complete documents, payment and successful verification. Actual time depends on the Certifying Authority, verification outcomes and any clarifications sought.

No Guarantee of Issuance

A DSC is issued at the sole discretion of the licensed Certifying Authority, subject to verification. NoLegalPaisa does not and cannot guarantee issuance, acceptance of any specific validity on any particular government portal, or approval. Our role is limited to professional facilitation.

Validity, Renewal & Re-registration

DSCs are valid for 1โ€“3 years. An expired DSC cannot be renewed and requires a fresh application. After any renewal, re-registration of the new certificate on portals such as DGFT, EPFO and MCA is the client's responsibility.

Client Responsibility

The client is solely responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of documents provided, and for the safe-keeping of the USB token and its PIN. A lost, damaged or compromised token/DSC requires revocation and fresh issuance at additional cost.

Frequently asked questions

With online paperless applications and quick verification, a DSC is usually issued within 1โ€“2 business days, sometimes faster once KYC is complete.

Certifying Authorities issue DSCs valid for 1, 2 or 3 years. Choosing a longer validity reduces renewal frequency and is usually more economical.

Class 1 and Class 2 DSCs were discontinued/phased out (Class 2 from 1 January 2021) to raise security standards. Class 3 with strict verification is now the only valid certificate for official use.

Yes. You can hold more than one DSC โ€” for example, an individual DSC and an organisational DSC, or separate certificates for different roles or portals.

You should have it revoked with the Certifying Authority immediately and apply for a fresh certificate. A new token/issuance will involve additional charges.

Yes, where they need to sign Indian filings (e.g. as a company director). Additional/attested documents are typically required for verification.
