Clause 1

Eligibility

The Program is open to all registered users of NoLegalPaisa who have a valid account and are in good standing in accordance with the Platform's Terms of Use.

Clause 2

Earning Reward Points

Members will earn 01 Reward Point for every ₹100 spent on the NoLegalPaisa platform, excluding any applicable taxes, fees, or discounts.
Reward Points will be credited after successful completion of the eligible transaction.
NoLegalPaisa reserves the right to determine which transactions qualify and to modify eligibility criteria from time to time.

Clause 3

Value of Reward Points

Each Reward Point has a notional value equivalent to ₹1.
Reward Points are not legal tender and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or sold.
Notional value can be used only for redemption under these Terms.
For eligible NLP services, points may be applied as discount at ₹1/point, subject to redemption rules in Clause 4(B).

Clause 4

Redemption of Reward Points

(A) Gift Vouchers

Points can be redeemed for Amazon.in or Flipkart e-gift vouchers of equivalent denomination, as selected by the Member from the denominations made available by NLP.
Redemption possible once the Member has accumulated a minimum of 500 points, subject to the points required for the chosen voucher denomination.
Requests can be made through the NLP interface or modes specified by NLP.
The voucher e-code is issued to the Member's registered email address and/or mobile number by NLP or its authorised voucher partner, typically within 24–48 hours of request approval.
Available denominations, brands, and inventory are subject to change and may be limited from time to time.

(B) Additional Redemption Option — Services/Discounts

Redeem towards eligible professional services (ODR/mediation, subscriptions, drafting, incorporation, filings, IP, consumer, etc.).
Rate: ₹1 discount per 1 point on the professional service fee component.
Exclusions: government/stamp/authority fees, third-party pass-through costs, expenses, and taxes are not eligible.
Minimum: 250 points per invoice; Cap: up to 25% of professional fee per invoice (unless higher cap displayed).
Not clubbable with other coupons/cashbacks unless permitted.
Must be applied at checkout; once confirmed, redeemed points are non-reversible.
NLP may issue updated invoice/credit note as per applicable tax law.

Clause 5

Disclaimer on Voucher Value and Tax Liability

Gift vouchers are subject to the issuing platform's (Amazon.in's or Flipkart's) own terms of use, validity period, and usage restrictions; NLP is not liable for the issuer's policies, discontinuation, or changes to their voucher programs.
Any taxes/duties/levies (including under the Income-tax Act, 1961) arising from the redemption or receipt of a gift voucher are borne by the Member.
NLP is not responsible for calculating, collecting, or remitting such taxes on behalf of the Member, except where NLP is statutorily required to deduct tax at source.

Clause 6

Expiry and Forfeiture

Points may have an expiry date as specified by NLP; unredeemed points may lapse.
NLP may cancel/adjust points in cases of refund, cancellation, fraud, or misuse.

Clause 7

Modification or Termination

NLP may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at its discretion without prior notice.
On termination, Members may be allowed a reasonable period to redeem points, failing which points may lapse.

Clause 8

General Conditions & Jurisdiction

Participation constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
NLP's decisions on interpretation/eligibility/earning/redemption are final and binding.
Governed by the laws of India; disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Thane, India.
Gift voucher redemptions are executed via NLP's authorised voucher partners; Members must provide a valid, verified registered email address and/or mobile number for delivery of the voucher e-code.
NLP does not sell, issue, or underwrite the gift vouchers itself and makes no representation regarding the voucher issuer's own terms; operational rules (eligible denominations, brands, caps, blackout periods) may be published from time to time and form part of these Terms.

Vouchers How does gift voucher redemption work?

You use your reward points (₹1 = 1 point) to receive an Amazon.in or Flipkart e-gift voucher. We arrange the voucher via our authorised partner and send the e-code to your registered email and/or mobile number.

Account Do I need a demat account or KYC?

No. Gift voucher redemption does not require a demat account or share-related KYC. You only need a registered NoLegalPaisa account in good standing, with a valid and verified email address and/or mobile number for delivery of the voucher.

Brands Can I choose any brand?

You can choose between Amazon.in and Flipkart e-gift vouchers. Available denominations depend on partner inventory at the time of redemption.

Amount How is the voucher amount decided?

You choose a voucher denomination (e.g., ₹500, ₹1,000, ₹2,000, ₹5,000, ₹10,000), subject to your points balance and the minimum redemption of 500 points. 1 point = ₹1 of voucher value.

Availability What if my preferred denomination isn't available?

Available denominations may vary from time to time based on partner inventory. If your preferred denomination is unavailable, you may choose an alternate denomination or brand, or wait until it is restocked. Your points remain safely in your wallet until redeemed.

Timing How long does it take?

Typically 24–48 hours for the voucher to be issued and delivered after your request is approved. You'll be notified by email/SMS once the e-code is sent.

Fees Are there any charges?

We cover standard issuance costs for the voucher. Statutory taxes on the value of the benefit, if applicable, are your responsibility.

Tax Will I pay tax on a gifted voucher?

Possibly. Under Indian tax law, gifts (including vouchers/gift cards) may be taxable for the recipient if the total value of gifts received from a non-relative exceeds specified thresholds in a financial year. Please consult your tax advisor for your specific situation.

194R I'm a business user. Does TDS apply?

Where benefits are provided in the course of business or profession, Section 194R may require 10% TDS on the value of benefits above the applicable threshold. The system may require PAN details and handle TDS as applicable before completing the voucher issuance.

Discounts Can I use points for service discounts instead?

Yes. You may redeem points toward NoLegalPaisa professional fees at ₹1 per point, subject to caps and exclusions (government/stamp/authority fees and taxes aren't discountable).

Limits Any limits or minimums?

Minimum redemption applies — 500 points for gift vouchers and 250 points for service discounts. Per-invoice caps (e.g., 25% of fee for service discounts) and program limits/blackout periods may apply; see your redemption screen for current rules.

Fails What if my voucher delivery fails?

If your registered email or mobile details are incorrect or unverified, delivery may fail. We'll notify you to fix the details; if unresolved within the SLA window, your points are re-credited to your wallet (as per operational rules).

No Is this a cash equivalent or investment product?

No. Gift vouchers are a loyalty benefit only. They are not cash, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are redeemable solely on the issuing platform (Amazon.in or Flipkart) subject to that platform's own terms of use.
